Coffee Grinders
Wipe the grinder down with a soft damp cloth. For something more effective you can try wipe it down with a damp cloth dipped in soapy water. Then go over the entire surface with a damp cloth. Wipe the interior parts with a damp cloth and make sure to remove residue from ground coffee beans. If your coffee grinder has removable part you can wash them in the sink with soap and water. DO NOT submerge your coffee grinder into water itself. Make sure your coffee grinder is unplugged before you clean it.
Coffee Makers
After each use, the filter basket and the glass carafe and lid should be cleaned with water and soap. If parts seem faded you can use a dry soft cloth to restore shine. To clean the brewing mechanism pour a quart of of white vinegar into the carafe. After that fill to the 10-cup level with cold water. Place a fresh paper in the basket and turn the machine on (as if you were making coffee). Once you have done that turn the machine off and let it sit for fifteen minutes.
Coffee Stains
Blot the stain with cool water. Once you have done that rinse it thoroughly with water. If that doesn’t work blot the stain with water and mild laundry detergent. If that still doesn’t work mix a few drops of white vinegar and water. Keep rinsing it. If that still doesn’t work you can start using some hydrogen peroxide. Make sure you rinse it thoroughly so that you don’t have cleaning solutions mixed on your fabric.
