Gutters and Downspout
It is important to clean your gutters at least twice a year. It Is best to do it once in the spring and once in the fall. Check your gutters by climbing up on the ladder. If the gutters have backed up you want to make sure to scoop out all the sticks and leaves. It is best to wear work gloves to protect your hands. Hose the gutters after you have removed the gunk. Hose down the downspout to clear it from sticks and leaves. If it clogs use a hose bladder
Skunk Odor
We all now that skunk funk is smelly! Many times that skunk funk can get on your curious dogs. The best way to get rid of that horrible smell on your dog can be by washing your dog with vinegar or tomato juice. For driveways, and other hard surfaces that have that horrible funky smell mix a quart of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup of baking soda, and one 1 tablespoon of liquid dishwashing detergent. Put it in a plastic spray bottle, and spray it on the surfaces that stink. Let the solution set and hose it off.
Cushions
Most outdoor furniture cushions can be simply cleaned like regular cushions. If there are manufacture cleaning instructions follow those instead. If not you can simply put them in the washer machine or wash it by hand which ever one you do. After they are done being washed it isn’t necessary to put them in a dryer, you can simply set them out to dry outside.
Pillows
You can wash most cloth place mats in the washer machine on a normal circle. You can also tumble them dry. Some place mats are made of silk but washable silk. Keep in mind that it is also important to read the cloth labels to make sure that you don’t make a mistake.
